Well my dear friends it has been well over a month since my last post.
I know that you probably have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for this new post - so I won't delay it any longer...
First and foremost my husband HAS A JOB! Thank you Lord Jesus! Almost six months of being unemployed and he finally found a job, and one that is right here in our hometown. Whew! And the icing on this cake is that this job is actually a pay raise from the last, AND he is guaranteed at least 10 hours of overtime each week, which will just bring in even more cash. (Which we really need, seeing that we were living on only 1 paycheck for so long...)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July holiday. We were able to sneak away from this awful desert heat for a week and retreated to a not so hot location up north. The mini-vacation was wonderful, but now we are back in the hot, hot, hot sun and back to work (not complaining on that front though!). Actually the Fourth of July marked my husband's and my second wedding anniversary. Praise God! We made it to two!
Also exciting news is that my husband was granted his US citizenship and his swearing in ceremony will be July 18th. How very cool! He will be the very first person in his entire family to become a US citizen.
